Objective of the Video Poker Game
Draw to make the best 5-card poker hand according to the payout table.
-Once the video poker game loads please select your bet amount. You may bet 1 to 5 coins per hand. Click on the "BET ONE" button once for a one-coin bet. Click on the button again to increase your bet up the maximum bet of 5 coins. If you prefer, you can simply click on the "BET MAX" button to bet the maximum amount on each hand. If you wish to reduce the amount of coins before you play your hand click on the "COLLECT" button the amount of coins you wish to reduce your bet.
-As you select your bet amount, note that the Video Poker machine highlights the proper column in the payout table. You can also see your bet amount in the lower right corner of the Video Poker screen below the last card (for example, BET: $1.00). Your available credits appear in the lower left corner of the Video Poker screen below the first card (for example, Bank: $1,000). When you play the Dollar ($1) Video Poker machines, 1 COIN = $1. When you play the Quarter ($0.25) Video Poker machines, 4 COINS = $1.
- Once you have selected your bet amount, click on the "DEAL" button to get your first five cards. NOTE: If you bet "MAX", the Video Poker machine automatically deals without waiting for you to click the "DEAL" button.
- Analyze your first five cards and decide which cards, if any, you wish to hold. To hold a card, click on the "HOLD " button or click on the card itself. A "HELD" banner will appear on the face of each card you have chosen to hold. Before you draw your final cards, you may change your mind and choose to discard any of the cards you have previously chosen to hold. Simply click on the "HOLD " button or the card being held and the "HELD" banner will disappear, meaning the card will now be discarded. You may change your hold selections as often as you want until you draw your final cards.
-Click on the "DEAL/DRAW" button to draw your final cards. If you win, your hand will be highlighted on the payout table and you will see your win amount at the bottom of the Video Poker above the center cards. You will also see your Credit balance increase in the lower left corner of the Video Poker screen.
Payouts are listed on the individual video poker machines, and vary according to the type of video poker game you are playing. As an example, the payout structure for Jacks or Better is listed here. The actual values that will be awarded will be highlighted green as you increase your bet on the machine
